Computer Age Dentistry

Computers have become an integral part of our daily lives.  At Pacific Dental Care, we strive to Redefine Dental Care through Innovation by incorporating computer integrated patient management systems to provide our patients with the highest level of service and care available.  We are a full service, fully computerized professional office Moving Dentistry Into the 21st Century....

With our network Computer Patient Management Systems, we offer these services to our patients:

  • Patient Education.  Our dental chairs have Full Computer Integration....! Our patients can view our Web Page or watch our Smile Channel presentation that is easy to understand and fun to watch.  Our patients appreciate the extra effort we take to translate their dental needs into plain English.
  • Chair-side scheduling and coordination of treatment.   Our assistants and hygienist are specially trained to offer our patients the flexibility and convenience of scheduling future recall exams and necessary treatment without leaving the dental chairs.  This has significantly reduced the check-out time for our patients.
  • Computerized chartingPre-existing conditions (fillings, cavities, etc) are graphically noted in every patients computer records.  This information is accurate, easily accessible, and has allowed for a more careful tracking and management of treatment and diagnosis.  The print-outs are patient-friendly so our patients can understand them and are more educated about their dental needs.
  • Periodontal maintenance.  With our electronic record of periodontal disease, we can more accurately diagnose underlying periodontal disease and progression.  With graphical reports and charts that can be generated, we are better suited to treat our patients periodontal disease.
  • Electronic insurance claims.  Insurance claims filed by our office can now be sent electronically.  This is more efficient as insurance companies have moved towards computer integration.  Claims can not be processed four times faster than conventional paper claims.  More important, electronic claims are more accurate and require less maintenance.
